SchooLinks
Gwinnett County Public Schools announces its partnership with SchooLinks, a college and career readiness platform to prepare students for what comes after graduation. SchooLinks is a modern platform that offers a complete set of tools to help your student at every stage of their academic journey.
SchooLinks will help students discover their interests and strengths, explore colleges and careers and create an individualized academic and career plan that best reflects their post-secondary goals. As a parent/guardian, you will have the opportunity to join your student in their career and college exploration process and have conversations with them about their future.
Using SchooLinks, students can:
● Access career interest, strength and mindset surveys
● Explore 2-year and 4-year colleges
● Take virtual-reality college campus tours
● Request transcripts and letters of recommendation
● Track college applications
● Increase financial literacy by comparing college costs, exploring expected financial aid, family contribution, scholarships and out-of-pocket expenses in the “Game of Life,” a SchooLinks financial future planning feature
● Find internship and volunteer opportunities
● Explore traditional, emerging and career fields as well as military employment options
● Learn more about military opportunities
● Create digital portfolios / resumes
● Communicate with counselors
Lanier High School students will receive more information about SchooLinks from the school counseling department during classroom lessons this semester. Students can access SchooLinks in your GCPS Student Portal.
