AP Testing Information

AP Exams Spring 2026

AP Exam Testing Dates: May 4th-8th and May 11th-15th (see calendar below).

All exams will be held in-person at Lanier High School.

2025-2026 Lanier High School AP Exam Registration

All students must pay for AP Exams in MyPaymentsPlus (no cash).

Student Registration

  • All students pay a $15 non-refundable registration fee.
  • Students must be enrolled in a section of AP Classroom for every exam they wish to take. AP Classroom join codes are available from a student's teacher of record. Exams cannot be ordered without enrollment in AP Classroom.

GCPS Students Enrolled in AP Courses

  • Gwinnett County Public Schools will pay for 1 exam ($99) for each student.
  • Each additional exam is $99.

GCPS Students Who Are Free/Reduced Lunch Students and Enrolled in AP Courses

  • Gwinnett County Public Schools will pay for all exams after the $15 registration fee.

Note:

  • There is a fee of $40 for any exam that is a late order, requires late testing, or is unused/cancelled.
  • A late order fee of $40 per exam will be applied to registrations after November 9, 2025.
  • Students who have AP Micro can register between January 5, 2026 - March 8, 2026.
  • No exams can be ordered after March 9, 2026.

You should bring the following items to the exam room:

  • A government-issued or school-issued photo ID.  
  • Several sharpened No. 2 pencils (with erasers) for completing multiple-choice answer sheets.
  • Pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for free-response questions in most exams.
  • A watch that does not have internet access, make noise, or have an alarm.  
  • Up to two calculators with the necessary capabilities if you are taking an AP Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, or Statistics Exam. (Visit www.collegeboard.com/ap/calculators to learn more about the calculator policy for each of these exams, and for a list of authorized calculators.)
  • A ruler or straightedge only if you are taking an AP Physics Exam. (Protractors are not allowed.)

You should NOT bring the following to the exam room:

  • NO Electronic equipment: (phones, fitness tracker, tablet computer, etc.), portable listening or recording devices (MP3 player, iPod, etc.), cameras or other photographic equipment, devices that can access the Internet, and any other electronic or communication devices.
  • Unapproved aids: Books, compasses, mechanical pencils, correction fluid, dictionaries, highlighters, notes or colored pencils.
  • Scratch paper
  • Computers or calculators (except as noted above).
  • Reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions.
  • Watches that beep or have an alarm, or smartwatches.
  • Clothing with subject-related information.
